The Member Support Administrator thrive in a team oriented atmosphere where they pride themselves in consistently delivering a five-star customer service experience to all members. These cheerful folks enjoy spreading joy and optimism while consistently improving member retention by undertaking a number of administrative duties. They have a knack for establishing rapport and building relationships which helps them to diffuse member situations day in and day out.

You have tremendous patience when dealing with members and accommodate their every need with your enthusiasm and calm demeanor. You are a cheerful customer service master who is passionate about helping people. You get a kick out of getting members to those aha moments. Helping members makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. You are team focused and customer service conscious. You have accurate and detailed knowledge of all programs, prices, services and policies. Not only that, you are able to think on your feet and effectively use your resources. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.

You are incredibly helpful and highly organized. You are an Altea Active specialists who provides a wide variety of service and assistance to members such as updating member account information, processing payment and acting as an information source on any and all Altea Active matters.

**As a Member Support Administrator, a typical day might include the following**:

- Updating and maintaining members data in our customer relations management software
- Answering a members questions about promotions and club services
- Processing a past due payment with a member
- Answering the telephone within 3 rings with a smile on your face
- Rescheduling a new member in for an appointment
- Consistently communicating with the all departments to better enhance the members overall experience
- Updating and maintaining accurate records in customer relations management software

**To land this role you need to have;**
- Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an asset.
- 1+ experience working in customer service
- Experience working with a customer relationship management software is an asset
- CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
