**General Accountability**:

- Reporting to the Court Services Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for providing the administration of all offences, supporting evidence and court information as it relates to the Criminal Code of Canada, Part I and Part III Provincial Offence Act (POA) charges. The incumbent is responsible for the daily entry, processing and case tracking of Records of Arrests, and POA ticket infractions in accordance with policies, procedures and legislated timelines. The incumbent, will liaise with TTC Prosecutors in regards to POA matters to assist with early resolution meetings and trials as required. The incumbent will also liaise with the Crown Attorney’s Office, the City of Toronto Court Services, Toronto Police Services and other agencies to respond to inquiries or requests for information and documents. This role is also responsible for the submission of charge packages and the coordination of deliveries and retrievals of sensitive documents and information. The incumbent may respond to inquiries from Special Constables, Fare Inspectors and authorized external sources.**Key Job Functions**:

- Verifies data by creating audit reports using MicroStrategy platform; retrieve historical information from legacy systems with the use of Crystal Report Writer;
- Acting as Commissioner of Oaths designated by the Attorney General’s Office for swearing affidavits and other legal documents required by the Courts for the section;
- Assist in providing reports on an ad-hoc basis to department supervisors and TTC Prosecutors upon request;
- Sound interpersonal skills to clearly communicate detailed information with Special Constables and outside authorized agencies;
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and have the ability to handle a high volume of work on a timely basis;

- Completion of a college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.**Additional Requirements**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of court administration procedures and the court system;
- Strong knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Mental Health Act, Trespass to Property Act, Liquor License and Control Act, Toronto Transit Commission Bylaw No 1, Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, etc. is an asset
- Working knowledge of law enforcement terminology and related processes (e.g. Crown Briefs, subpoenas, summonses, Form 9, Form 10 etc.);
- Must have or acquire the ability to operate a desktop workstation to conduct queries through Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) and/or Integrated Court Offences Network (ICON) terminal and other standard office equipment necessary to perform duties;
- Must possess sound knowledge and understanding of data entry procedures, with proficiencies in data accuracy, quality and strong keyboarding skills;
- The successful incumbent must pass all applicable personal background checks as conducted from time to time;
- Possession of a valid non-probationary Province of Ontario class “G” driver’s licence is an asset;
- Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
