**SUMMARY**
We have an exciting career opportunity for a store manager to become part of our team As a store manager, you will be providing a courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers, along with displaying and maintaining a fresh and visually appealing seafood showcase. This role will be reporting to the Retail General Manager.
**KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Oversee the merchandising of fresh, frozen, and prepared seafood products to ensure optimal presentation and quality.
- Manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimize productivity.
- Place orders for seafood products, ensuring inventory levels meet demand and quality standards.
- Conduct semi-monthly inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Actively engage in selling seafood products, driving sales through effective customer engagement and product promotion.
- Address customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Receive incoming seafood shipments, inspecting for quality and accuracy.
- Proactively push sales through strategic promotions and upselling techniques.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Optimizing department profitability.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with seafood.
- Proficiency in cleaning and trimming various seafood products.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Flexibility required to work any day during the week.
- Positive attitude.
**WORK CONDITIONS**
- 40 hours a week.
- On-site, indoor store environment.
- Repetitive tasks.
- Attention to details.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $52,000.00-$66,000.00 per year
