**Inventory Analyst**

**At Irving Consumer Products, we recognize that the key to our success is our people. Irving Consumer Products is a leading manufacturer of premium tissue products - including national brands and private label. We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.**

The **Inventory Analyst** will be based out of 40 Norelco Dr, North York, ON M9L 2X6 and will be essential in implementing and monitoring procedures to ensure adequate inventory is available and ready to ship from the distribution center. This position will own the local inventory control process to maintain accuracy and integrity. This position will also work closely with other warehouse team members and engage in operational continuous improvement initiatives primarily involving productivity and warehousing efficiencies. This position will work with other Supply Chain groups including but not limited to; Customer Service, Quality, Deployment, Transportation as well as other third-party warehouses to identify and reconcile any inventory discrepancies. This is a permanent, full-time position.

- Strong analytical skills
- Big picture orientation, look for areas to improve Ability to work and drive improvements in logistics
- Post-secondary education preferred or combination of relevant work experience in logistics and warehousing
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience

**The main duties/responsibilities of this role include**:
Manage Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Owns the cycle counting process and reporting.
- Manages quality holds.
- Reports on past due inbounds and outbounds to ensure inventory is available for customer shipments.
- Manages repack operation (when required)
- Manages the fulfillment of all material needed for warehouse operations (airbags, stretch film, seals, office supplies, etc).
- Supports warehouse administrative staff during peak periods.
- Creates, processes, and reconciles receipt errors.
- Manages partial pallet & non-active inventory.

Reporting & Administration
- Owns operational KPI dashboard - reports on certain items daily, weekly, and monthly to management. Analyzes data to recommend improvements.
- Work with warehouse staff to initiate and track cycle count audits.
- Tracks status of non-active inventory (QA, Damages, Clearance, Obsolete, etc.). Manages consolidation efforts by supervising general labour.
- Provide estimates for repack & co-packing projects at the DC.

Project Management
- Participate in distribution projects where necessary.
- Continuous Improvement
