Toronto, Canada Ideal Child Services Group Full time

Established multi-site childcare operator seeks a permanent part time split shift RECE for the FDK and School Age Classrooms at our Tumpane Child Care Centre location.

**Qualification Required**: E.C.E. Diploma or Equivalency [RECE], clear vulnerable sector's check, up to date medical, including immunizations, valid First Aid/CPR.

**Skills Required**:
> Must have knowledge of Childcare operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/ICSG and TDSB Policies and Procedures including ICSG Code of Conduct.

> An experienced, warm and energetic individual who has the ability to work with School Age Children.

> Must possess strong initiative and organizational skills and have a positive attitude.

> Is dependable and flexible and arrives for the scheduled split shifts on time.

> Is able to communicate effectively and professionally with Children, Staff and Parents, ICSG Management, TDSB and any other Governing Agencies involved as per the Supervisor instructions.

> Based on Supervisor’s approvals/direction must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as in a team.

> Has the ability to handle a School Age program and is able to maintain room control.

> Must be able to work collaboratively with the TDSB Teachers and School Principal by sharing observations, contributing to the assessment of Children, as per Ministry of Education Guidelines.

>Must be able to set up the Program activities twice daily and modify areas/room set-up, as per Centre Supervisor’s directives; be able to make immediate changes to program delivery with short notice of room change if TDSB requires the space.

> Must be available to attend TDSB Early Learning Team meetings, TDSB Curriculum Night, and any other special SA related events

**Hours of work**:
**Split Shift > During the School Year**: 7:00-9:00a.m. and 3:00-6:00p.m. [5 hours per day]

**During Summer, P.A. Days, March and Christmas Breaks**: 8 hours per day

**Comments**: The hours of work may vary according to enrolment and the needs of the Centre
