A large and complex organization, constantly evolving and quick to adapt to change, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), and for maintaining the provincial health registry and distribution of health services cards.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a visionary and empowering leader to provide strategic direction to eHealth Saskatchewan in order to ensure the organization has the appropriate people, organizational change, employee development and employee relations strategies and frameworks in place to deliver high quality programs and services to clients and partners.

Leading with a strong collaborative approach and in partnership with the senior executive team, the **Vice President of Human Resources **brings focus and innovation to lead transparent processes, provides quality services and ensures coordinated, integrated approaches and accountability are in place for eHealth to fulfill its mandate and achieve its goals.

**Vice President**

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President will work in strategic partnership with the other eHealth executives, employees’ union, the Ministry of Health, other health agencies/partners and executive government to ensure a sector-wide perspective is incorporated into the delivery of a diverse range of programs and services. The Executive employs a “First Team” approach to leading the organization and decision-making. Key areas of responsibility for this position include:

- participating as a member of the Executive Team by contributing to strategic and leadership priorities and implementation of health sector initiatives;
- building, leading, directing, coordinating and developing recommendations with respect to all people strategies and organizational development initiatives; and
- building and maintaining trusting, credible, collaborative partnerships and relationships with management, staff, healthcare sector organizations and the employees’ union in order to advance the goals and outcomes of eHealth and as contained in Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan.

**Background and Competency Requirements**

This opportunity is for experienced senior executives with an exceptional history of achieving results in collaborative environments. In addition, you will have:

- Leadership strengths that promote inclusion, engagement and empowerment, and that foster an innovative and collaborative organizational structure;
- A solid track record of building and maintaining credible relationships across a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders;
- Knowledge of government legislative and regulatory processes and protocols
- Minimum 10 years experience managing Labour Relations and Human Resources in the public sector;
- Knowledge of change management best practices as related to organizational change;
