Demand Generation Manager

At Shinydocs, we’re revolutionizing how businesses handle their data. As a key player in B2B technology with an enterprise sales model, we’re seeking a talented **Demand Generation Manager** to drive high-impact marketing initiatives that target key segments in Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, Government, and Fortune 500 industries.
As the **Demand Generation Manager**, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will use your expertise to recommend future lead generation initiatives and optimize current campaigns. You will dive deep into understanding our ideal customers and their unique needs to support a data-driven lead generation strategy. You will establish the demand generation foundation at Shinydocs, bring actionable recommendations for continuous improvement, and mentor future demand generation specialists. You may also assist with hiring new team members.
In your first 30 days, you will collaborate closely with product marketing, sales, BDR, and marketing services to understand the customer buyer journey, our sales cycle, and key takeaways from recent lead generation campaigns. Leveraging your insights, you will implement processes to execute demand generation initiatives and recommend new tools and channels to enhance market outreach.
**Day in the Life**:
- **Build and Own a Targeted Marketing Strategy**:
Manage and own the complete marketing strategy for assigned segments. As a player-coach, you will guide the work of demand generation specialists, sharing your expertise in developing high-conversion campaigns.
- **Collaborate Across Go-To-Market Teams**:
Work closely with Sales, BDR, and Marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that generate awareness and drive leads. Build strong relationships across go-to-market teams and document processes to ensure consistent, cross-functional collaboration.
- **Lead Generation Tactics**:
- **Identify Marketing Channels**:
Identify relevant marketing channels, associations, events, and influencers that align with your target segments. Develop programs like **sponsored content**, **co-hosted webinars**, and **targeted paid media campaigns** to drive demand.
- **Bring Creative Ideas**:
Continuously explore new and innovative ways to reach target markets, such as personalized content, interactive campaigns, and emerging digital channels. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling content and messaging that resonates with your audience.
- ** Measure. Iterate. Improve.**:
Implement a system to track and measure the performance of all campaigns. Use data insights to create a feedback loop with Sales and BDR teams to iterate and optimize in-market execution. Adjust campaigns based on live data to improve ROI and lead quality.
- **Know Your (Ideal) Customer**:
Research and deeply understand your target segments. Speak their language, address their pain points, and tailor copy and content that resonates. Use this insight to enhance lead generation tactics and support sales enablement efforts.
- **Bring Insights Back Into the Business**:
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to share market insights and customer feedback. Influence product positioning, messaging, and the creation of sales tools to better support demand generation initiatives.

Lead by example and contribute to defining and enhancing our company culture as we continue to grow.
**You Have**:
- 5-7 years of experience in a demand generation role for a B2B technology company with an enterprise sales model, including management or leadership experience.
- Expertise in **lead generation tools**, marketing attribution, and CRM platforms.
- Proven experience with **programmatic SEO**, **automated campaigns**, **ABM**, and other demand generation strategies.
- Experience in Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, Government, or Fortune 500 industry segments.
