**About this Opportunity**:
As part of the Financial Reporting group, this intern will also closely work with other corporate teams (including financial planning, treasury, tax, HR and financial systems) and with our finance teams around the world. The intern will assist in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, will help to consolidate, analyze and report company-wide financial results, and lead communications/presentations with global finance and others, and manage website databases/dashboards, among other responsibilities.

- Knowledge of Accounting concepts A keen interest in pursuing an accounting designation (CPA)
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks for efficient time management
- Strong internet, research and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Suite, Google Apps for Business)
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Self-motived to work, takes on initiatives, can work independently
- Highly organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks (while working for several managers)
- Ability to work long hours/weekends when necessary to meet deadlines Website upkeep and database management aptitudes

**Activities**:

- Work closely with other corporate teams and with our finance teams around the world
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process

**Physical Demands**:

- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
