The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus, in collaboration with Providence Health Care (PHC), is recruiting for a full-time Tenure Track Assistant Professor who will also hold the newly established Providence Health Care/UBC Professorship in Indigenous Cultural Safety and Nursing.

Qualifications / Skills and Education:
**Education**:

- PhD in Nursing or a related discipline (completed or nearly completed).
- Practice experience in nursing.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and advancing Indigenous Cultural Safety.
- Ability to develop a sustainable research program with the potential for impact across Canada.
- Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

Duties and Responsibilities:

**Your Day to Day**:

- Lead research in Indigenous Cultural Safety, collaborating with PHC and UBC colleagues.
- Teach, mentor, and provide clinical services related to Indigenous Cultural Safety.
- Engage with Indigenous communities to inform and guide your research and teaching.
- Strengthen partnerships between PHC and UBC to advance Indigenous Cultural Safety and Nursing.
