Accounting & Administration Associate

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with the Director of Finance to prepare monthly reporting,
- Receive mentoring from the Director of Finance
- Draft, submit for approval and send invoices & credit memos to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing in a timely and respectful manner.
- Manage outstanding accounts receivable by communicating with customers on expected payment dates, in cooperation with the operations team.
- Prepare purchase orders in the accounting system as directed by Operations and send them to vendors once approved.
- Post incoming invoices from suppliers and submit them for additional approval as necessary.
- Prepare invoices for payment in accordance with cash flow forecasts, submit payments to the bank for approval and post payments in the accounting system.
- Respond to and manage supplier inquiries regarding payments.
- Prepare quarterly GST/HST filings and monthly PST filings.
- Suggest & implement process changes for time and/or cost efficiencies as appropriate to support the company’s continuous improvement.
- Other related duties as assigned or required.
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
