Report to Controller
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable and inventory
- Provide overall guidance to payable and receivable staff
- Training and overseeing staff to ensure they are performing their jobs efficiently and accurately
- Develop and implement financial policies and performance standards
- Monitor A/P sub-ledger, including clearing of outstanding purchase order(PO) balances and unclear receiving liabilities balances
- Responsible for ensuring payments made are charged to the proper accounts
- Ensure month-end cut timelines for processing invoices
- Supervise payable: invoices and payments processing to support intercompany and external vendors and suppliers on a timely basis
- Monitor receivable: the billing processing in support of timely payment processing, payment processing, receipts, adjustments, disputes and collections for intercompany and external customers
- Reduce DSO and monitor DPO to optimize business
- Responsible for monthly intercompany payable verification and receivable submission in a timely fashion
- Verify and setup wire/EFT payment before Controller/Management’s approval for payment
- Liaise with departments to provide support for requests related to internal and external vendors and customers
- Finalize a narrative for each inventory count processing, track, monitor and verify each inventory count record
- Manage employee corporate credit cards, be backup for verifying employee’s expenses in SAP Concur
- Reconcile and analyse balance sheet accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts and initiate ACH and wiring transfer for inter-company and external vendors
- Review monthly AR and AP Aging reports, and prepare those reports for month-end closing
- Assist Controller with the completion of month-end, quarter-end and year-end reports for Corporate
- Monitor weekly cash flow to ensure that there are sufficient funds to meet operational expenses
- Be backup for Payroll Specialist on processing payroll and other compensation payments to employees
- Directly managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable employees, which includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
