We are currently seeking an **Accident Benefit** **Law Clerk **to join our Personal Injury team **for a fixed contract term of 1 year**. Working independently and as part of a team, the Accident Benefit Law Clerk will be responsible for on-going file maintenance and follow-up in addition to the preparation of various legal documents and communications with clients, courts, insurers, and other relevant parties.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Performing full clerical, administrative and general office duties
- Preparing and/or transcribing legal documents according to general instructions and/or precedents
- Completing various forms in writing and electronically
- Verbal and written communication with various parties including but not limited to lawyers or paralegal peers, subordinates, opposing counsel, and clients, etc. for various reasons
- Coordinating dates for various reasons including but not limited to Examination of Discovery, mediations, settlement conferences, pre-trial, trial, etc.
- Other related duties and special projects as may be assigned within the department.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Relevant degree or diploma that has been successfully completed
- Ability to take direction and work effectively, individually and as part of a team
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, conscientious and organized
- Exceptional computer skills (i.e. strong proficiency in Microsoft Office)
