**Portland Street Collision is seeking a File Auditor for our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Location**

The Collision Center File Auditor will be responsible for managing the front end of the Collision Center Business and the paperwork process. This includes building and maintaining a good relationship with our staff, customers and insurance companies. You will be responsible for daily administrative duties, completing the required accounting functions and providing accurate reporting information.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Receive RO files opened by CSR
- Check Audatek for new assignments, print and call and put on work board
- Review production schedule throughout the day with the CSR, Body Shop Manager and the Assistant Body Shop Manager
- Update Arms rental system
- Review and maintain a clean open repair order listing
- Accurately book all Bodymen and Painters time on the repair order, daily
- Keep in constant contact with the CSR to contact the customer on vehicle progress
- As jobs are completed confirm updated mileage, and all information is present. Begin to close RO. Print customer copy and advise CSR to contact customer
- As jobs are completed, pass to Estimator for final photos
- Submit supplements for credit or additional parts or any missing items on DRP’s
- Close RO’s on completed vehicles
- Submit RO to final and scan and attach all documents as required by each insurance company
- Communicate to CSR what payment is due from the customer at vehicle pick up
- Print weekly time cards for Bodymen and painters for review and given to Body Shop Manager for approval
- Submit payroll information to accounting on a bi-weekly basis
- Code payments received on account
- Review accounts receivable schedule and ensure payments are made as quickly as possible
- Complete monthly reconciliations relating to Collision Center, including parts and sublets
- Assist with appointment booking with the co-ordination of the Body Shop Manager and the Assistant Body Shop Manager
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to
- Maintain workstation in a clean and orderly appearance
- Help to build and maintain positive moral with the Collision Staff
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- Collision experience is an asset
- Knowledge of basic payable/receivable accounting principles
- Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
