**What we do**

Benmet Steel & Metal is a **leader in the Canadian scrap and recycling industry** located in the heart of Guelph, ON with our second location in Stratford, ON and our third location in Owen Sound, ON. We are one of the most established and reputable independent scrap metal processors in Ontario. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team.

**Quality management** is an essential part of the manufacturing and product development lifecycle. This process is the responsibility of a **Quality supervisor**, also known as a quality control supervisor and it ensures that the company's products and services meet the client's requirements and perform according to agreed standards.

**Responsibilities include**:

- training new employees on company procedures and policies and safety measures
- determining and distributing work assignments and responsibilities
- supervising and completing projects
- performing regular inventory audits and production lines to ensure they comply with company standards
- providing support and guidance to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively
- conducting regular meetings with the audit and inspection team to help foster teamwork and consistency

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Ability to show initiative and support where needed, team player.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, adaptable, with strong multitasking skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree or similar supervisory experience
