Technical Analyst(Point of Sales) Analyste

We are presently looking for a POS Technical Analyst to join our team. **Position Summary**:
Assist our customers and business analysts in deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting our ERP software and infrastructure. Responsibilities include POS set up and configuration tasks during implementation projects and taking ownership of customer issues throughout its life cycle until a timely resolution is provided. Duties also include testing of software, providing feedback and performing other related project tasks as they arise. Recommend improvements to the development team after troubleshooting and analyzing live environment behaviors. Maintain and update records of procedures and processes. Being part of our weekend and after-hours support shifts rotation.

**Skills & Responsibilities**:

- Must be familiar with POS hardware to troubleshoot issues/problems as they arise.
- Ability to evaluate software by studying users’ objectives; and provide solutions based on the findings.
- Willing to travel to customer site to assist with system installation and configuration.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple activities or projects of varying complexity with conflicting priorities involving cross-functional teams and aggressive time constraints.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal, including the ability to produce clear and well-organized documents.
- Team player with a desire to continuously improve current business practices/processes.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle SQL - PL/SQL), web services and VB.NET.

**Education**:

- DEC or Post-secondary degree in computer science

**Experience**:

- Required minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Analyst and be able to demonstrate applied experience with working on medium to large-scale projects in a Retail Point of Sale environment.
- Hands-on experience with POS hardware and peripherals, networking, configuration and support.

Résumé du poste :_**
- Vous êtes responsable de la mise en place et de la gestion des systèmes d'information de l'entreprise, de l'organisation et de la gestion des ressources humaines. Les responsabilités comprennent les tâches d'installation et de configuration des points de vente pendant les projets de mise en œuvre et la prise en charge des problèmes des clients tout au long de leur cycle de vie jusqu'à ce qu'une solution soit apportée en temps voulu. Les tâches comprennent également le test du logiciel, la fourniture d'un retour d'information et l'exécution d'autres tâches liées au projet lorsqu'elles se présentent. Recommander des améliorations à l'équipe de développement après dépannage et analyse des comportements de l'environnement réel. Maintenir et mettre à jour les dossiers relatifs aux procédures et aux processus. Participer à la rotation des équipes d'assistance le week-end et après les heures de travail._

- _Capacité à gérer efficacement plusieurs activités ou projets de complexité variable avec des priorités contradictoires impliquant des équipes interfonctionnelles et des délais serrés._
- _Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de présentation, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral, y compris la capacité à produire des documents clairs et bien organisés._
- _Esprit d'équipe et volonté d'améliorer en permanence les pratiques/processus commerciaux actuel
