**Duties and Functions**
- Anticipating and completing all administrative duties for medical staff
- Reception and maintaining the reception area
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Answering phone calls and checking phone messages
- Billing
- Managing office inventory and equipment; anticipates needed supplies and orders them accordingly
- Maintaining updated and accurate patient records electronically
- Responsible for assisting in the organization, implementation, and logistics of educational events
- Faxing, scanning, and uploading sensitive documents
- Works in a team with other MOAs to provide support to the clinics across the Centre
- Participates in and implements continuous quality improvement practices

**Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications**
- Certificate in Medical Office Assistant required but not necessary and a minimum of one year of experience providing administrative support services for a medical office
- Communicates well and can work collaboratively with team members and patients
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Proficiency with computers
- Knowledge of an EMR system, particularly Input Health and Accuro would be an asset
- Punctual and professional
- Experience with organizing educational events, conferences, and seminars would be an asset
- Basic understanding of medical terminology

Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
