As an operation support section manager, you will develop, implement and track an action plan aimed at offering services of the highest quality and meeting the administrative needs of various teams in terms of performance management.
You will supervise a group of approximately 20 employees at the clerk and technician levels. You will support the operations of all of the administrative department’s claims teams. You will be responsible for managing the documents received from the teams, opening and preparing all new claims files and inputting the documents received, among other things.
Your aptitude for focusing on results and proactively resolving situations will enable you to efficiently manage people and performance as well as ensure accountability and the satisfaction of members, clients and partners.
Your innovative and proactive nature will also serve to improve processing times and increase the satisfaction of our members, clients and partners.
You possess extensive knowledge of the claims sector, which will help you advance the objectives of the administrative department. General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities- Support the immediate supervisor by helping with work organization and operational planning for the unit- Develop, implement and track the unit’s action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic orientations and other administrative units, in a performance management context- Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity in keeping with Desjardins values- Define and ensure the implementation of activities related to the unit’s services to maximize targeted business results and ensure member and client satisfaction- Support the administrative unit’s action plan by successfully managing individual and team performance- Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values- Continuously improve the management of processes under your responsibility.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration or in a related field- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
Specific knowledge- Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
