Hourly Wage:
$30.The Human Resources Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources and will work as part of a team to undertake a wide range of Human Resource tasks, like hiring and onboarding, organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leave, health, and safety, and crafting Human Resource policies. The successful candidate will have experience handling sensitive and confidential information while providing administrative support, engaging in employee relations, employee communication, and ensuring the efficient operations of the Human Resources Department. Provides support to Executive Director and Department Directors and Managers in the areas of record management, recruitment and selection, orientation, employee training, and performance management.

Develops and maintains a system of record-management and archiving Human Resources related documents, Including employee files, data tracking sheets and electronic files.

Provides support to the Executive Director, Directors, and Managers with posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and screening potential candidates.
Reviews and recommends changes to existing Human Resources Policies

In collaboration with Directors and the Executive Director, creates and implements an onboarding and new hire orientation program, in-service training.

Administrative and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and data privacy standards.
  • Must possess a valid BC Driver's License and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle, and provide clean Driver's Abstract.
