We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in retail grocery and a background in cash management. As the Front End Manager, you will lead our front end operations, including cashier management, customer service, interact with customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout. Strong customer service skills are a must. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, and enjoy working with people, we encourage you to apply

**Responsibilities**:

- **Cashier Management**: Supervise and train front end staff, including supervisors and cashiers. Hire staff and rain new cashiers on company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
- Ensure efficient and accurate cash handling procedures.
- Monitor checkout lines to minimize wait times for customers.
- Monitor cashiers to ensure that they are following company policies and procedures.
- **Cash Handling**: Count and manage cash, process credit card transactions, and Barn Bucks and provide change.
- **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and helpful service to shoppers. Scan items and bag groceries.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle returns. Answer phone calls.
- Maintain a welcoming and clean front end area.
- **Store Appearance**: Oversee cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, entryways, and exit areas. Arrange displays and promotional materials at the front end.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage front end supplies, including bags, receipt paper, and other essentials. Reorder as needed.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Experience**:Previous experience in retail management or a related role. Previous cash management experience mandatory. Experience with ordering and scheduling is an asset.
- **Leadership Skills**: Outstanding leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- **Cashier Experience**: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- **Customer-Centric**:Friendly, approachable, and committed to exceptional service. Customer-focused mindset.
- **Skills**:Ability to handle high-pressure situations during peak hours. Strong attention to detail.
- **Availability**:Available days, evenings, and weekends.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
