We are hiring at our Operations Hub. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader who wants to bring their talents and experience to a successful, growing company and our new location. This site assistant manager will oversee all daily operations as well as play a key role in the growth strategy for the company.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage the team and operations at our facility, ensure the success of the team by effectively staffing this location for reconditioning, preventative maintenance service, vehicle upfitting and repair work to be completed
- Perform mechanical repairs on the vehicles
- Consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple vehicles at once
- Maintain inventory / supplies
- Responsible for days in status at your individual location
- Take pride and ownership of the quality of equipment leaving the Summit Fleet facility while providing excellent customer service
- Communicate and embody the core values of Summit Fleet
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change, be a support to the team and enjoy what you do
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft - Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written, communication skills
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Effective and persuasive communications skills
- Performance management and results driven
- Must be a team player
- Position may require some lifting (up to 50 pounds), majority of the day will be an office environment

**Education and/or Experience**
- College degree preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
- 2+ years management / leadership
- ASE certification
- Experience in manufacturing, upfit, utility equipment, rental, or automotive industry preferred
- **Pay is based on experience**
