The **Tŝilhqot'in National Government** (TNG), is the official First Nations government serving the Tŝilhqot'in Nation. TNG is located in Williams Lake, British Columbia and serves six communities which include ʔEsdilagh, Tŝideldel, Yunesit'in, Tl'etinqox, Xeni Gwet'in, and Tl'esqox.

The **Tŝilhqot'in National Government** (TNG) is seeking one full time **Access Management Coordinator**. This person will lead TNG's access management initiatives across the Territory for the six Tŝilhqot'in communities including within the mountain caribou range. The focus is on linear features restoration, mainly roads, to meet the Nations goals and objectives around road densities and restoration for both habitat and wildlife population improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assessments of linear feature status.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Engagement for priority roads/features with Tŝilhqot'in communities, BC Government and stakeholders.
- Lead community meetings regarding access management priorities, input and updates.
- Develop priorities, plans and strategies to meet the linear features goals and objectives (also to be developed/lead by this coordinator).
- Proposal, permit and other paperwork completion and submissions for projects.
- Creating and implementing contracts for restoration work.
- Supervising restoration work including various contract crews.
- Assist with other Stewardship initiatives as available and required, such as, wildlife collar mortality investigations.
- Experience working with and for First Nations communities.
- Experience managing road restoration works including the planning and permitting phase within BC.
- Experience developing management plans including Nation level goals and objectives.
- Capability to manage and balance numerous projects with varying priority levels simultaneously.
- Ability to work in remote locations including overnighting in community to attend various meetings, field work, and supervision of restoration work.
- Experience and comfort working and travelling in bear country.
- Use of various technology including; trail cameras, SPOT device, iPads, side by sides or other outdoor focused technology.

**Working Conditions**
- Travel will be required.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required.
