Sales Representative

**Purpose**:
The Sales Representative is self-motivated, and results driven individual who is organized, analytical with exceptional communication and team fostering skills with an eye for detail. As a Sales Representative, you are committed to providing service & support to our customers and communicating those requirements to our team. As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for working with existing customers to increase our sales, and canvass for new customers to grow our business.

**Overall expectations**:
- Create & implement sales strategy to achieve sales goals.
- Canvas sales territories and solicit new sales opportunities for machining, welding, repair & assemblies.
- Conduct regular visits to customers to help build the Girotti Machine brand, and present how we are good partner for their business
- Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis to build and maintain a good working relationship between them and our businesses.
- Coordinate with other members of our team to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain & build customer & RFQ information in CRM software
- Coordinate with accounts receivables to ensure all invoices are paid in full and on time.
- Create marketing and sales material to help promote the Girotti Machine brand, and the services we offer.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manual specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions surface finishes and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Create RFQ packages for customers needs and effectively communicate this the estimating team
- Work with estimating team to build estimates for our customers and liaison between us and our customers to ensure all questions are answered
- Present quotes to our customers and follow up with any open opportunities. Work with team as required to adjust quote to become a sale.
- Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
- Further enhance company culture.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum 3 years sales experience.
- Strong background and/or experience in machine shop operations - milling, turning & welding
- Experience working in CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Able to excel in high pressure situations.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
**Reporting Relationships**:
The position of Sales Representative reports directly to the Operations Manager.
**Experience**:
- Business development: 3 years (preferred)
- CRM software: 2 years (preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Saint Catharines, ON L2M 6S6
