**Summary**

BDI Canada Inc., a leading industrial distribution company, is looking for the right person to join our **St Catharines** team as a **Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative**. If you are a motivated individual with the skills and experience outlined below — we’d love to hear from you

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **2+ years of experience** in a similar role.
- Proficiency in **SAP and Microsoft Outlook**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain **trust-based relationships** with customers.
- **Prepare, produce, and follow up** on customer quotations.
- **Process and manage purchase orders** with accuracy and efficiency.
- Source competitive quotes from **suppliers and manufacturers**.
- Solve customer issues independently, using **creative problem-solving skills**.
- Actively **learn and collaborate** with colleagues to enhance team success.

**Requirements**:

- A University or college degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Good understanding of Bearings and Power Transmission product line features and benefits.
- 2+ years experience with Power Transmission and Bearing sales.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Experience in SAP based software system
- Forklift license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer Service/Inside Sales: 2 years (required)
- Bearings and Power Transmission Products: 2 years (required)
- SAP: 2 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-02-14
