**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collect, process, and analyze structured and unstructured biological datasets, including genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics data.
- Utilize bioinformatics tools and techniques to perform sequence analysis, pathway analysis, and variant calling.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and associations in biological data.
- Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and data requirements.
- Generate visualizations, reports, and summaries to communicate findings and insights effectively.
- Conduct quality control and validation checks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reproducibility.
- Stay updated on advancements in bioinformatics, computational biology, and biotechnology to inform analysis methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in the design and optimization of experiments and studies by providing statistical expertise and data-driven recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases, pipelines, and analytical tools for data management and analysis.
- Support regulatory submissions, clinical trials, and product development activities by providing data analysis and interpretation as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or information technology. Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred.
- At least two years related working experience is required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting.
- Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques. Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib in Python is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for querying and extracting data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data analysis with organizational goals.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy, reproducibility, and quality.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices in the biotech sector is desirable.

**Salary**: $46.00 per hour
