Our organization is looking for a Physician Assistant to assist in completing health screenings for students and adults. This individual will also be responsible for collaborating with medical staff to address concerns and manage patients, performing physical assessments of patients, ordering and analyzing lab tests, diagnosing injuries and illnesses, providing patient education and developing long-term treatment plans.
**Responsibilities**:
- Have knowledge of anatomy, physiology and disease.
- Be able to provide medical care to patients.
- Be able to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with patients, their families, other medical professionals, and medical staff.
- Read medical charts.
- Understand and document a patient's medical history.
- Operate diagnostic tools such as electrocardiogram machines and computerized axial tomography scanners.
- Know how to give medications to patients.
- EMR: 1 year (preferred)
- Physician Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
