The Opportunity
A senior leadership position and pivotal role within the organization that is mandated to formulate the overall strategies, goals and policies and take ownership of the direction and results of the Product Strategy, Management and Development teams supporting Symcor’s digital payments, identity and open banking products.
As a key member of the Growth Services team, this position will contribute to setting the overall strategic direction of key Symcor products and influencing and executing on the corporate goals and programs.
This role is truly hybrid and doesn’t require any mandatory in office but we encourage the senior staff to be able to travel to the offices located in Mississauga and Toronto for specific purposes.

**About the Role**:

- Contribute to the setting the overall strategic direction of Symcor, influence the definition of the corporate goals and programs.
- Drive the product strategy, road-mapping and execution of product vision within LoB across the enterprise under the guidance of the SVPLead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders (both within and external to the organization)
- Lead the annual strategic planning process for product line with focus on ensuring that enterprise strategy is reflected in divisional level targets, goals and objectives
- Develop, monitor and report on KPIs that evaluate LoB’s performance against enterprise strategy
- Support the enterprise wide communication of LoB’s product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Overall accountability for the product vision, strategy and roadmap & executing product development activities (market research, product launch, pricing), product portfolio management; product/service lifecycle management
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to successfully sell company’s products, providing product expertise, customer counsel during sales cycle
- Identify trends and business opportunities within existing and/or new markets aligned with corporate strategy parameters
- Introduce new products to market (commercialization)
- Foster strong relationships with client executives to support the sales pipeline and ongoing high customer satisfaction
- Accountable for the successful P&L management of the products within the DSS portfolio
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of product managers and related personnel to ensure the successful market penetration and ongoing success of accountable products and services
- Foster and promotes an environment that identifies and recognizes potential and promotes the growth and advancement of individuals.
- Drive a culture of high performance and collaboration within and across functions and with other Symcor divisions.

**What You Need To Succeed**:
**Education**:

- Advanced development (post-graduate) in field(s) such as business.

**Experience**:

- 10+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of Payments and Financial Services industry
- Varied and deep knowledge of various fields of knowledge related to the direction, establishment of delivery protocols and measurement of the results of large and varied organizational units and/or of critical functional aspects of the organization as a whole.
- Vast expertise in integrating varied elements/functions/specialties developed through years of directing and managing complex organizational units.
- Established experience in identifying upcoming challenges and setting long-term goals.
- Experience in holding positions involved in the overall functional direction at a Corporate level.
- Expertise in directing issue resolution where the interaction of multiple resources may be required.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Detailed understanding of the goals, objectives, mode of operation of all areas of involved in the promoting, selling and delivery of services
- In depth and detail knowledge and understanding of the environment(s) where Symcor operates and of the elements that can affect its current and future business and operations.
- Advanced understanding of the client organizations’ priorities, needs and modes of operations.
- Advanced understanding of the client organizations culture and approach in conducting business.
- Knowledge of the levels of authority and decision in client organizations.
- On-going knowledge of the evolution and changes in critical fields or environments that impact the organization.
