Operator, Large Format Digital

**Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Operation -** Operate and control large format digital printing equipment, including printers, plotters, and other relevant machinery. Ensure proper setup and calibration of printing equipment to achieve optimal print quality.

**Material Handling - **Load and unload printing materials, such as rolls of paper, vinyl, or other substrates, into the printing equipment. Monitor and manage the inventory of printing materials to ensure an uninterrupted production flow.

**Job Setup and Preparation - **Receive and review job orders, specifications, and design files from clients or internal departments. Set up the printing parameters, such as color profiles, resolution, and sizing, based on job requirements.

**Quality Control - **Conduct regular quality checks during the printing process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Troubleshoot and address issues related to print quality, color accuracy, and other potential issues.

**Maintenance and Troubleshooting - **Perform routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

**Collaboration - **Collaborate with graphic designers, prepress operators, and other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination in the production workflow. Communicate with clients or project managers to clarify job requirements and address any concerns.

**Safety and Compliance - **Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to printing processes.

**Record Keeping - **Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job details, material usage, and equipment performance. Provide relevant data and reports to management for performance evaluation and process improvement.

**Continuous Improvement - **Stay updated on advancements in printing technology and techniques. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

**About You**:

- Experience in operating large format digital equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
