**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree related to Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Labour Relations.
- Demonstrated progress towards a CHRP designation.
- A minimum of four years' experience in labour relations, including; handling grievances, participating in negotiations, conducting investigations, and working with managers to implement restructuring plans. Experience preferably achieved in a Hospital setting with multiple unions.
- Knowledge of employment related legislation and current employment practices.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective presentation skills, proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in leading projects/initiatives to successful completion.
- Committed to continuous learning (internal and external to the organization).
- Demonstrated excellent project management skills and commitment to NH mission, vision and values.
- Proficient computer skills including a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
