Busy downtown Victoria law firm seeks a professional Law Firm Receptionist to join our dynamic, growing team. As the first point of contact for our clients and visitors you’ll play a vital role in the operation of the firm, while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general office equipment.
- Previous experience in a receptionist role preferred.
- Previous experience in a legal environment preferred.

**Duties**:

- Recognize your responsibility as a Brand Ambassador for the firm by staying apprised of lawyers’ expertise, firm achievements, and firm policies and obligations.
- Create a welcoming environment for clients, stakeholders, and guests to the firm.
- Upkeep and maintenance of the reception area and boardroom to a professional standard.
- Frontline triage of incoming calls.
- Operate telephone switchboard handling all incoming calls and forwarding messages.
- Monitor website submissions and forward to appropriate department.
- Distribute incoming faxes.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries and distribution.
- File opening and closing.
- Assist with client identification and verification.
- Post Cost Recoveries.
- Process client payments in person and over the phone.
- Sort, scan and file documents.
- Monitor and purchase office and kitchen supplies.
- Liaise with tenant service and handle building maintenance issues.
- Support legal professionals as required.

Pay: $39,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
