**Kandor Management Corporation** is a fast-growing leading security and facility maintenance firm in the Lower Mainland offering a refreshingly positive approach to a broad spectrum of custodian, facility management services and skilled trades.
Reporting to the Vice President Human Resources, the Learning Manager will be responsible for overseeing Learning Management System (LMS) for all of Kandor Management’s business lines. Leveraging their previous training experience, this role will closely manage and continually create quality content to support our learning strategy. Administering curriculum, learning plans and development grant stakeholders will be key deliverables for this role. Lastly, this role will require planning and delivering face to face instruction in a wide array of general, security and facilities maintenance topics.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Leverages technology to source, design and implement engaging learning experiences for all Kandor Management’s employees.
- Responsible for all types of training including on-boarding, tactical, leadership and personal development.
- Face to Face instruction, specifically being able to deliver in class training for OFA.
- Lead the OH&S program development to support our business lines obtaining COR Certification.
- Monitor and optimize training technology processes and related budgets.
- Assist with delivery of new hire orientation program.
- Provide feedback to develop and annually revise training strategy as a part of the company’s strategic planning process.
- Participate in various train the trainer development opportunities to improve knowledge base.
- Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
- Schedule appropriate training sessions.
- Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
- Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
- Supervise training budgets.
- Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
- Train and guide new employees.
- Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training.
- Keep training programs vibrant and entertaining to engage employees and trainees.
- Manage learning contractors and vendors to support learning activities.
- Support the Vice President Human Resources with any ad-hoc tasks, as directed.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology discipline
- 4+ years of training/learning specialist experience with a proven learning technology track record
- Experience implementing Learning Management Systems
- Ability to create content to support a Learning Management System
- Experience creating curriculums, conducting training needs analysis and instructing in a corporate environment.
- Experience with COR Certification.
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven people influencing and leadership ability
- Experience working within tight deadlines with multiple priorities
- Experience working in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to flex emotional intelligence to create buy-in
- Continuously pursuing a self-directed learning philosophy, always staying on the cutting edge of best practices
- Adept at creating an engaging service environment
- Brings a great sense of humour and enthusiasm
- CPHR, CTDP or related learning designation is an asset
