**Sous Chef - Watercolour**:
The Sous Chef will be responsible for helping to manage the kitchen as part of the leadership team. In addition to executing service and completing required mise en place, the sous chef will assist with purchasing, quality control, and teambuilding. The individual selected for this role will be passionate about the culinary industry and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create an environment that is warm, welcoming, and filled with positivity for guests and employees
- Uphold our standards at all times and treat everyone with courtesy and respect
- Prepare stations for service, complete mise en place and stock list
- Prepare dishes during service in a high paced and detail orientated kitchen
- Prepare all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Purchase goods according to business demand
- Ensure process and quality standards are being met by kitchen team at all times

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years restaurant experience
- Mediterranean cuisine experience is an asset
- Demonstrate positivity and possess a welcoming and enthusiastic can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented and impeccably organized
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Have extensive knowledge on cooking temperatures and general food safety regulations
- Culinary degree/diploma and/or the equivalent in education and experience is an asset
- Very competitive salary which will be based on experience

Pay: $175.00-$200.00 per day
