As the Facilitator, Leadership Development, you own the development of Leadership Development training of our Lightspeed Leaders. Reporting to the Lead, Leadership Development, you investigate, design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate high-quality, innovative, and engaging training, leveraging dynamic and adaptive facilitation skills. Success in this role requires a highly energetic self-starter with a demonstrated background and understanding in adult learning theory, leadership development, and pedagogical best practices.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Ensure learning solutions are aligned to defined business goals and competency gaps based on available data.
- Design and develop client-ready Leadership Development training products, including slides, participant guides, and post training Learning Transfer Activities (LTAs).
- Design leadership development training with the learner in mind, ensuring intuitive flow, optimal ways to ensure understanding, and engaging learner activities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that optimizes skill acquisition where learners feel safe to try new skills and behaviors and where personal differences are respected.
- Facilitate leadership development sessions and potentially other learning solutions that produce defined outcomes through instructor-led virtual training.
- Interact with Lightspeed Leaders, relevant stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful training outcomes.
- With guidance, identify insights from training evaluation data and other available feedback (e.g., from People Business Partners, managers of learners, etc.) to continuously iterate and improve Leadership Development training products.
- With guidance, leverage change management strategies to identify ways to create excitement and participation in Leadership Development training.
- Stay current on trends, research, and best practices in adult learning principles, leadership development, and evaluation methodologies.

**What you'll be bringing to the team**:

- Bachelor's in Leadership Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience developing training content for adult learners, particularly around leadership in a business environment.
- Experience developing, influencing and implementing measurable and scalable learning solutions.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop client-ready training materials (e.g., facilitator slides, participant guides).
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, solving for anticipated and current challenges in a timely manner and offering innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating resilience should setbacks or shifting priorities occur.
- Relationship-focused and a team player, leaning in to ensure team success while also building effective working relationships with people at all levels of the organization - both within and outside the People & Culture team.
