Job Responsibilities:

- Follow and implement the client's respite plan during the visit;
- Engage in general client care including feeding, dressing, toileting and bathing;
- Assist client to participate and engage in a variety of activities at home;
- Assist clients to participate and engage in their local community;
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times;
- Update clients’ communication book after each visit;
- Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

- Educational background in ECE, ECA, CYW, PSW, or related fields;
- Minimum 1-year experience supporting children with different abilities;
- Knowledge about ABA and behavioural strategies is an asset;
- Ability to work flexible hours (afternoon, evening, and some weekends);
- Must be able to drop off and pick up materials for clients;
- Police Check/ Vulnerable Sector Screening is required.

SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Workers are required to complete a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire before starting each shift. Additionally, face masks will need to be worn throughout the respite session.
