Position: Full Time (8:00am - 4:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday)

**Property Associate**:
As a Property Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 101 unit, pet friendly rental building with associated retail spaces. You will care for the property by providing / assisting with building management related duties including administration, residential leasing, communications, community engagement, with some minor cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the property running smoothly.
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
The successful applicant will need to have knowledge in the following areas:
- The Residential Tenancy Act
- The duties and responsibilities of a Building Manager
- A passion for hospitality
**Administration / Leasing Tasks**
Perform daily operations of the building including but not limited to:
- Act as a point of contact for tenants (residential & commercial)
- Handle inquiries and requests promptly, accurately, and completely through Kevington’s tenant portal
- Complete various administrative tasks including reports, audits, and updates of key databases.
- Provide ongoing written communication to tenants and the Property Manager
- Act as the team lead supporting the building cleaners and the buildings groundskeeper
- Coordinate work activities and services from vendors and other contractors as needed by researching and identifying needs, supervising, and ensuring open communication between contractors, tenants, and team members
- Assisting our leasing team with move in/out procedures, showings, and documentation
- Enforce and ensure adherence to the BC Residential Tenancy Act and Kevington Policies
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary
**Hospitality Focus**
- Operating the front desk and hosting trades
- Fosters community by extending warm friendly, professional greetings to all who enter/exit
- Managing the parcel delivery and pick up services at the Building
- Works with our Community Team to plan and run building activities such as events and decor
- Create building signage
- Is informed, trained, and handles emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner
**Building Maintenance Tasks**
- Work with the building cleaners, trades, security and operations team to maintain the property
- Daily cleaning, set up and facilitation of communal and amenity spaces
- Waste management
- Perform maintenance work such as changing light bulbs, snaking drains, and replacing smoke alarm batteries
- Assist with Patio furniture setup and take down
- Perform suite inspections
- Assist with salting and snow removal
- Attend basic building maintenance
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Experience in building management and or residential leasing
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language
- Excellent customer service skills
- Energetic team player, who is detail oriented with the ability to take initiative
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Competency in using online reporting software
**Additional Requirements**:
- Building Management or Residential Leasing experience with schooling an asset.
- Permitted to legally work in Canada (citizen, PR, work permit)
- Valid BC drivers license considered an asset
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must be able to lift 25lbs and work on ladders - and perform other physically duties
**Salary**: $56,000.00 per year
