**Salary Range: $84,335 - $105,417 per annum**

**Hours of work: 35 hours per week**

Reporting to the Advisor, Immunization Services Planning, this position works collaboratively with the management team and other stakeholders to lead the development of strategic, business and operational plans including other strategic initiatives across the Immunization Services Division.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Provide expert advice and guidance about strategic, business and operational planning across Public Health
- Lead the development of methodologies for strategic, business and operational planning
- Support the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data and trends to inform strategic, business and operational planning
- Facilitate teams at all levels across the Division through strategic, business and operational planning initiatives
- Work with teams across Health Services and Public Health to develop integrated plans to make decisions and drive change
- Work closely with other Specialists and Advisors in Public Health and Health Services to align methodologies and initiatives, and to provide a consistent approach to broader performance management
- Build and strengthen positive relationships with internal/external customers, corporate and broader stakeholders
- Ensure all phases of project delivery are performed within standards, timeframes, scope and budget requirements and that project risk is managed
- Support the integration of planning into existing business practices within the Health Services department
- Raise awareness, desire, knowledge and use of strategic, business and operational planning across the department
- Keep abreast of best practices in project management, change management, strategic, business and operational planning and build these practices into ongoing projects and initiatives
- Build capacity across the Health Services department through education, facilitation and sharing of best practices to use strategic, business and operational planning to inform performance management and decision-making
- Lead in the design and implementation of a planning and performance management system for Immunization Services
- Lead initiatives that are large/complex in nature, as well as act in a project advisory role on small/routine initiatives led by other members of the Immunization Services team (Advisors, Analysts, Coordinators, Students)
- Work closely with stakeholders in Health Services and the Corporate Strategy Office to align corporate and departmental strategic goals/outcomes and progress (performance) reporting
- Liaise with external vendors and partners, as required
- Maintain ongoing focus on achieving broader health services outcomes while meeting internal/external customer needs
- Stay current on relevant trends and priorities across the Public and Healthcare sectors in Ontario
- Provide work direction, advice and mentoring to Analyst, Coordinator and Student colleagues in the Immunization Services Division

**What the role requires**:

- Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or Public Administration, or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ experience with project management, change management, analysis and interpretation, facilitation, and collaboration
- Expert knowledge of current thinking and practices related to strategic, business and operational planning within the health and public sectors in Ontario

- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with senior and executive management, health professionals, other levels of government, other departments, staff and stakeholders
- Excellent facilitation skills with sound knowledge of various facilitation techniques
