**Accounts Payable Coordinator**

TNT - The New Trend, a designer fashion retailer based in Toronto, is currently looking for a talented individual to assist their accounting department with their Accounts Payables. As our Accounts Payable Coordinator you will be working closely with the Controller to closely manage full cycle A/P processes and maintain vendor relations. You will be expected to work alongside other accounting personal to support their day-to-day analysis and reports. You will also be expected to participate and contribute to monthly and quarterly reports as well as monitor A/P processes and procedures. You will work with various suppliers and vendors from outside of the organization such as the staff of designers from other brands.

This position requires you to work at the office, it is not a work from home opportunity. **As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you will**:

- Facilitate our accounts payable processes including: invoices, issuing cheques, maintain vendor relations and assist with month-end account reconciliations.
- Prepare wire transfer templates.
- Process employee expenses.
- Review and file invoices.
- Prepare monthly sales consignment reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams (primarily operations and logistics) to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Support the accounting team with various ad-hoc reports, as required.

**Requirements & Skills**:

- 1 year of experience working in Accounts Payable (retail landscape considered an asset, but not required.)
- Experience using Sage Accounting is preferred, however, other accounting software such as Quickbooks,Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is sufficient.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- vendor management: 1 year (preferred)
