**Job description**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on instruments
- Prepare and run samples
- Assist with experimental design involving LC-MS
- Perform instrument troubleshooting
- Prepare and manage data files for external users

**Job requirements**
- MSc/PhD in Analytical or Bioanalytical Chemistry is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation in an academic or industrial settings
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with Orbitrap and/or timsTOF mass spectrometers is considered an asset
- Proficiency in instrument software such as Xcalibur, FreeStyle, and Bruker Flex Control and Analysis is an asset
- Safety certifications (e.g., General Laboratory Safety, Laboratory Biosafety, WHMIS, Compressed Gas training) are an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
