You will gain valuable insight into the commercial real estate industry while being exposed to multiple lines of business over the course of your internship.

JLL is quickly growing its Canadian Property and Asset Management (PAM) team to deliver world-class Environmental, Social and Governance services to sophisticated owners and occupiers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to support PAM Canada’s Sustainability Team with representation in Toronto. The position entail working with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization

AS A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SUSTAINABILITY SUMMER INTERN AT JLL YOU WILL:
Be an active participant in a small but dynamic and ambitious team that delivers sustainability projects in properties across Canada.
Support the development of a centralized ESG data management platform by leading the collection and entry of a wide variety of ESG metrics sourced from multiple documents.
Support the development of resources and programs that engage property occupants on specific sustainability topics, such as energy and waste.
Conduct research on a defined ESG topic and create a presentation to educate stakeholders about upcoming trends.
Support the creation and delivery of engagement initiatives, training materials, and guidelines to build capacity across the property teams.
Support property teams and clients with third-party ESG certifications, including supporting documentation collection, creation and assisting with tenant communications.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all information processed.
Take meeting minutes and compile summary reports, when required.
Participate in weekly team meetings, internal meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
Complete end of the year internship pitch presentation to panel

**DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in environmental science or studies, building science, business with sustainability, or related field.
Experience in the commercial real estate sector is an asset
Demonstrated proficiency with software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams; Adobe Standard
Good verbal and written communication skills
Professional yet personable demeanor
Must be self-motivated and proactive
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
Must be able to work remotely and/or in person/office
