**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **College degree in Social work, Community services or Justice services**
- Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology or related field with an addiction concentration
- **Minimum of two (2) year experience in the field of addictions and/or mental health (a combination of both will be preferred)**
- Experience in intervention, interviewing and counselling with clients with addictions and/or mental health issues, is mandatory
- Demonstrated knowledge of counseling techniques, approaches, and interventions currently used in the field of addictions and mental health
- Knowledge of stabilization services in order to manage safely physical, mental and emotional needs of clients waiting for their treatment
- Knowledge of Champlain addictions services network in order to assist clients and their family members in accessing appropriate community resources
- **Excellent oral and written communication in both French and English, at a superior level**
- Effective client-centered communication
- Flexibility and approach based on clients’ needs
- Current certification in Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), motivational interviewing and CPR/First Aid are assets

**- Proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 is required**

**EXIGENCES**:

- **Diplôme d’études collégiales en travail social, toxicomanie, santé mentale ou services communautaires**:

- Niveau d’études souhaitable : Baccalauréat en travail social, psychologie, criminologie ou dans un domaine connexe de la toxicomanie
- **Minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la toxicomanie et/ou de santé mentale (une combinaison des deux serait souhaitable)**:

- Expérience en intervention, en entrevues et en counseling avec les clients qui souffrent de dépendances et / ou de problèmes de santé mentale
- Connaissance des techniques de counseling, des approches et des interventions présentement utilisées dans le domaine de la toxicomanie et de la santé mentale
- Bonne connaissance des services de stabilisation afin de gérer en toute sécurité les besoins physiques, mentaux et émotionnels des clients en attente de traitement
- Connaissance approfondie du réseau des services de la toxicomanie de la région de Champlain (Ontario) afin d'aider les clients à accéder aux ressources communautaires appropriées
- **Excellentes habiletés de communication orale et écrite, de niveau supérieur en français et en anglais**:

- Communication efficace axée sur le client
