A large and complex organization, eHealth is comprised of 30+ clinical and non-clinical program (service) areas that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients, providers, citizens, and health system users. Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.

The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

**About the Role**:
eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a results and detail oriented individual with strong technical knowledge. This is an integral role in supporting our day-to-day operations. We are looking for a team member who takes pride in their work and has strong customer service, technical and troubleshooting abilities.

**Typical daily duties will include**:

- LAN switching support
- Unified Communications support
- Structured wiring maintenance
- Wireless support

**What we are looking for**:

- Understanding of Cisco network devices such as switches and routing configuration;
- Theory of LAN, MAN & WAN technologies, communications & equipment, network & desktop operating systems and wireless technologies
- Experience with Wireless Networking
- Basic understanding of Network Protocols
- Cisco CCNA certifications or other network related certifications would be considered to be an asset

**You will have knowledge of**:

- Knowledge of Video over IP and/or Voice over IP experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Enterprise Monitoring concepts
- ITIL service delivery concepts, with a focus on Change, Incident, Problem and Service request management
- Knowledge-based document creation concepts
- Troubleshooting problems and identifying resources required to solve issues
- Knowledge of SaskTel Community Net would be an asset.

The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained by three or more years of experience working within an integrated IT/Health support environment and a completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a Computer Science program from a recognized post-secondary technical institute. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
