We're looking for a human resources and labour relations business partner who will leverage their passion and commitment to help us support many areas of the organization across Canada.

**YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Implement practical and creative actions to meet operational needs while taking employee interests into account.

Participate in the smooth operation, growth and maintenance of our unique labour relations model.

Support the Operations team and employee representatives in managing labour relations files.

Coach and support managers in their labour relations, performance management, talent management, change management and employee relations issues.

Help maintain and develop healthy relationships. Actively participate in labour relations committees, assist in the management of complex situations and work in conflict prevention and dispute resolution.

Monitor the state of labour relations and help implement the best practices, policies and procedures necessary for the organization’s smooth operation.

Collaborate with key stakeholders by presenting KPIs and providing HR recommendations through analytics.

Participate in sector HR projects by means of research, presentation, deployment and follow-up.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or industrial relations with 2 years of relevant experience.

Excellent knowledge of employment and human resources legislation in Quebec.

An excellent ability to establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.

Leadership qualities, courage, a sense of responsibility, integrity and good judgement.

Analytical skills and the ability to step back, seek solutions and manage results effectively.

The ability to provide advice and support to employees, operations and management in resolving common labour relations or employee relations issues and situations.

The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or in English on a daily basis.

The position requires attendance at the Valcourt plant for a minimum of 4 days a week.
