We are currently hiring for the position of VP - Equipment Finance.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Portfolio Management**: Oversee and strategically manage our existing portfolio of $250 million and growing, optimizing the financial performance of assets. Monitor the portfolio's performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and areas of concern. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that lease agreements are in line with the portfolio's objectives and profitability targets.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, inspire, and mentor a dedicated team of professionals specializing in creating leases for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
- **Financial Strategy**: Develop, implement, and continuously refine financial strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives and revenue targets. Assess the financial viability of potential leasing agreements, making informed decisions to maximize profitability.
- **Client Relations**: Collaborate with other BVD business verticals to maintain and cultivate strong customer relationships, even without direct client engagement. Understand client needs and preferences, ensuring that equipment finance solutions align with their expectations.
- **Internal Accounting Support**: Work closely with the internal accounting team to generate accurate and insightful financial reports. Ensure compliance with internal accounting standards and provide guidance on financial matters to internal stakeholders.
- **Compliance and Risk Management**: Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations and internal policies related to equipment finance and leasing. Oversee risk management within the portfolio, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- **Financial Reporting**: Generate comprehensive financial reports that offer a clear view of the portfolio's performance to senior management and stakeholders. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for optimizing the portfolio's financial health.
- **Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine long-term strategic plans related to equipment finance. Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with other BVD Group departments, including sales, operations, and marketing, to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company goals. Facilitate effective communication and cooperation between departments to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in equipment finance. Implement process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the overall effectiveness of equipment finance operations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements for reporting and compliance, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- **Vendor Relationships**: Collaborate with equipment vendors and partners to optimize financial terms and agreements that benefit both BVD Group and its partners.
