**Muskoka Lakes Preschool **is a licensed childcare centre governed by a board of directors. We have one preschool room and the afterschool program. We are located in Glen Orchard Public School.

Muskoka Lakes Preschool is looking for an **Early Childhood Assistant** for our **Afterschool Program**. You must be passionate, kind, dedicated & responsible, and enjoy multi-tasking.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist in developing and implementing programming for Afterschool Program that supports and promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children age 4-13 years old.
- record daily attendance and documentation into HiMama
- Ensure an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- Supervise children safely inside and outside
- Must be able to fulfill cleaning duties necessary for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working alongside children
- set up and organize classroom

**Must have or be willing to obtain the following certification**:
- Police Check (VSC)
- First Aid/CPR
