**JOB SUMMARY**
The Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and assisting with the completion of administrative tasks within the Project Management Department. The Project Coordinator will often be the primary contact for the customer, ensuring open communication and regular updates are provided on all aspects of the project.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review new project documentation for completeness
- Send and track RFI’s and Change Orders
- Track and follow up with outstanding items, internally and externally
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the PM team. Plan, organize, direct, and assist with construction projects from start to finish according to schedule
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Project Master Schedule
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to stakeholders
- Analyze contract documents to define the scope and schedule constraints
- Maintain project schedule using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel
- Configure realistic scheduling logic and constraints of activities based on consultation with the project team
- Consult and coordinate with the project team to communicate efficiently and effectively
- Evaluate critical and near-critical path activities and sequences to monitor progress and performance against schedule baselines, analyzing variances and their reasons
- Obtain and track subcontractor and/or trade required documentation (WSIB Certificates, Ministry of Labour Form 1000’s, Insurance, Safety etc.)
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes and correspondence
- Create and issue Purchase Orders, invoices, etc.
- Monitor key project Milestones and ensure schedules are kept up to date
- Review project progress with Project Managers to determine company scheduling priorities
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries to site
- Prepare bills of lading and other documentation that may be required
- Track and analyze projects’ performance and expenditures, report variances to management.
- Other Duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education, preferably in business administration, or in construction management would be considered an asset
- 2 years customer service experience or equivalent industry experience.
- Track record of strong performance and achievement of goals.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written)
- Self-driven, positive attitude and desire to excel
- Strong attention to detail; highly organized and able to trouble shoot and problem solve effectively
- Solid command of Microsoft Word and Excel
- some work may be repetitive, which may include repetitive physical motion.
