**Logistics Coordinator**
**JGW Machine Limited** is one of Ontario's leading metal fabricators, manufacturing a wide variety of metal components for customers across Ontario and worldwide. Our clean, modern, highly automated 106,000 square foot facility is strategically located in South Western Ontario. At JGW Machine Limited our capabilities include engineering and design, machining, tooling and complete quality control. Process capabilities include laser welding, CNC machining, production welding, metal spinning, powder coat painting, finishing and assembly services. We ship metal components, weldments, and full assemblies globally. JGW Machine Limited has a tradition of quality metal fabricated products at competitive prices. We specialize in short run, tight tolerance metal forming, fabrication, welding and assembly.
**The job responsibilities would be as follows**:
- Verify pick lists against packing slips.
- Handle invoicing and verify the shipment of products in a timely manner.
- Organize transportation logistics for the shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials.
- Manage import and export processes, including customs and NAFTA documentation for both outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Determine tariff codes and handle relevant documentation.
- Manage outside operations, create purchase orders, and issue credit notices for returned products.
- Support engineering and management on special projects.
- Assist with picking/packing orders when required.
- Ensure all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with JGW code of business conduct and in accordance to the JGW Confidentiality Policy
**Skill Factor**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent task management and follow-up abilities.
- Proficient analytical skills.
- Familiarity with customs and NAFTA requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred but not required.
- Competent in using Syspro for shipping documents, invoicing, order entry, and work-in-process tracking.
- Forklift/Reach lift experience preferred.
**Work Environment and Effort Factors**:
- Fast-paced office and shipping area environment.
- Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and customer demands.
- Follow up with manufacturing on customer orders and respond to inquiries regarding order status.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- High School diploma or equivalent
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, which is 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
