We are a growing organization and are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Inventory Control Technician to join our winning team.

Job type : Permanent
Shift : Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm
- 8:30pm,
Friday: Day shift
Location : Cote de Liesse, Ville Saint Laurent

The Inventory Control Technician will be responsible for administrative tasks, inventory management procedures and day-to-day operations support.
** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Participate in a culture where health and safety is the priority and comply with all regulatory and company safety requirements.
- Proposal: Support the different operational departments according to the priorities of the warehouse activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications by working with the warehouse team to meet established expectations.
- Implement operational processes through work instructions adapted to customer demands, while optimizing warehouse capacities to meet and/or exceed customer requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise by checking for discrepancies in quantity, product code, lot and damage.
- Coordinate meat import/export inspections with CFIA inspector according to priorities and needs.
- Provide support to operations in the coordination of special customer projects.
- Proposal: Coordinate the implementation of special customer projects by working with the various departments.
- Perform random quality checks on shipments
- Proposal: Carry out random checks on shipments, verifying various quality parameters.
- Perform weekly counts and make any necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate physical inventory procedures.
- Manage customer complaints
- Assist in the maintenance of the loss prevention program.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- More than 2 years experience in warehouse and/or inventory management.
- Be available for flexible hours for approximately 20% of the year to assist with vacation replacements and other planned or unplanned absences.
- Committed to providing an exceptional experience to customers as well as internal and external contacts.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards the various issues to be resolved.
- A strong sense of initiative to prioritize tasks.
- Autonomy to manage time according to objectives and to solve problems creatively.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Good judgment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
