- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

This exciting role will lead the marketing team for Cloud Optimization. It’s a small, but mighty team comprised of product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing specialists. You would set the strategy, coach and manage the team, but also have an opportunity to contribute hands-on to some of the more interesting and complex challenges. In this sense, the role is a player + coach.
Concretely, we support the AWS Well-Architected framework, the Cloud Adoption framework, AWS Health, Trusted Advisor, and AWS re: Post. These offerings exist at the beautiful intersection of earning customer trust by helping promote best practices and reduce risks, and revenue generation as customers deepen their engagement with AWS.

Coaching, developing, and managing three direct reports in product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing
Establishing the overall marketing direction for Cloud Optimization, including goals, strategies, and tactics throughout the entire adoption funnel. Aligning the team around a coherent set of activities.
Partnering closely with product teams, business development, and central marketing to drive positive outcomes for customers and the business
Engaging with leaders across AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization to create communication channels that can reach every single technical resource in SMGS and all customers that can benefit from our offerings
