**Job Title**:Quality Supervisor

**General Purpose of the Job**:
The Quality Supervisor at Matcor Matsu is responsible for ensuring that product quality consistently meets automotive industry standards. The role involves leading a team of quality professionals and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Supervisor will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address and resolve quality-related issues promptly.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and ensure that product quality meets both internal standards and customer requirements, with a focus on automotive industry specifications.
- Lead root cause determination and drive the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and implement internal and external containment.
- Schedule and manage the workload of the quality team, including quality auditors, engineers and technicians, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance.
- Monitor Auditors, Engineers and technician performance and provide training when required.
- Initiate effective Customer and Supplier Liaison.
- Preparation and submission of corrective action reports.
- Fill in for Quality Manager in his absence.
- Participate in Quality studies and analysis.
- PPAP document preparation and maintenance.
- Ensure all quality processes comply with automotive industry standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and any specific customer requirements.

**Reports**:
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for completing and managing corrective action reports, scheduling inspections, and maintaining detailed inspection plans. Regular performance reports will be submitted to the Quality Manager.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the assigned Quality auditors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Education and/or Experience**:

- A diploma, certificate or degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive or manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Automotive Industry Experience.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive quality standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other automotive quality tools is an asset.

**Language Skills**:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.

**Mathematical Skills**:
**Reasoning Ability**:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

**Computer Skills**:
Organization and office skills, including computer, data entry, and word processing skills as necessary.

**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**:

- Quality Assurance or Engineering Equivalent
- Mechanical or Technical training

**Decision Making Authority**:
Ability to make a decision on Dimensional product quality.
