**Hiring: Clinical Social Worker in Sherwood Park**

Onyx Counselling and Psychotherapy in Sherwood Park has an opening for a qualified **Clinical Social Worker **to join our supportive and collaborative team as an independent contractor.

We support our therapists to thrive at our clinic and to grow a successful and enriching practice with us. We are a busy and growing practice and looking to find the right fit therapist who can support that growth and our brand.

This position is part-time (8-12 hours per week) to start, with opportunities to grow into full-time (20+ hours per week).

We are looking for clinical therapists who are trained, experienced, and can provide ethical, competent, consistent, and compassionate counselling services to one or more of the following client populations:

- Adults
- Couples
- Teen/Youth
- Children

Therapists will provide services in-person and virtually at our Sherwood Park location.

Therapists will have flexibility and autonomy with this position. We support our therapists and work collaboratively toward their professional goals.

**Therapist Requirements**:

- Master’s degree or higher in social work or related field
- Registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Social Workers
- Current professional liability insurance - Minimum of $3M
- Recent Criminal Record Check
- External supervision in place if required

**Additional**:

- Experience and professional training would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and listening skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly and easily
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
- Computer skills
- Ability to work well and participate in a professional team environment
- Flexibility and growth mindset
- Ability to provide compassionate and client-centered care to clients
