Label 428 is a food-focused creative and social media agency based in Toronto. We specialize in helping our clients manage their social media campaigns and produce high-quality content for them. Our expertise lies in serving restaurant franchises and consumer packaged goods brands.

We are currently seeking a Production Intern who is passionate about food. As an intern, you will play a key role in problem-solving, interacting with creatives, and delivering exceptional quality content with efficiency. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills to ensure smooth shoot operations. Creativity is highly valued, and we encourage interns to pitch video and photo ideas to the team. **Having culinary skills will give you an advantage in the selection process.**

Overall Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain proactive communication with the team.
- Collaborate with the creative team throughout the project lifecycle, contributing in various capacities as needed, such as content ideation, copywriting, and general production tasks.
- Assist with desk work and studio operations.

Project-Specific Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the creative teams to develop storyboards, shot lists, and mood boards.
- Brainstorm content ideas individually and within a team setting.
- Shoot and edit content.
- Assist with food preparation and clean-up.
- Be available to pick up and return rented equipment.

Assets:

- 1-2 years of content creation or production assistant experience is preferred.
- Experience in the Food and Beverage/CPG industry is highly preferred.
- Active presence on social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok (please provide your handles).
- Possession of a valid G class license and driving ability is highly preferred.
- Ability to assist with food prep on set is an asset.
- Willingness to appear on camera.
- Ability to lift heavy items and equipment weighing over 50 lbs.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Toronto, ON M6K 3P6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
